CMES CNC MACHINE TOOLS EXHIBITION IN XI'AN

In June, in Xi'an resonates with the "thermal value" of the machine tool industry.

Machine tools, also known as industrial mother machines, play a vital role in the manufacturing industry. From June 5 to June 8, the 2025 Xi'an International Machine Tool Exhibition was held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition brought together more than 600 machine tool companies from around the world, and fully demonstrated full-scenario solutions from nano-chip manufacturing to space-grade material molding.

According to the relevant person in charge of the organizer, the scale of this exhibition has been expanded from 2 exhibition halls to 4 exhibition halls, and the exhibition scale has increased by 40% compared with the previous one. A total of 27,883 professional visitors were received during the 4-day exhibition. The exhibition focused on the pain points of industrial upgrading and displayed innovative products on the application side. Professional visitors from aerospace, high-end equipment, automobile manufacturing, electronic information and other application fields accounted for more than 60%.

From the perspective of the exhibited equipment, it covers the entire industrial chain of five-axis linkage machining centers, turning and milling composite machine tools, laser cutting systems, intelligent detection equipment, machine tool accessories and cutting tools.

"my country is currently the world's largest machine tool producer and consumer." Wang Tieshan, director of the Industrial Development and Investment Research Center of Xi'an University of Technology, said in an interview with a reporter from Securities Daily, but from the current development status of my country's machine tool industry, there are still problems such as insufficient high-end industrial chain and insufficient independent innovation capabilities of the industry.

The reporter interviewed many companies on the spot and learned that in response to some of the current problems in my country's machine tool industry, enterprises are taking various measures to improve quality and innovation, and continue to move towards the world's first-class level.

"Our five-axis CNC machine tool is mainly used to process automobile anti-collision beams, sunroof guides and parts with complex curved surfaces. It is widely used in the new energy vehicle industry and the aerospace industry." Fan Huachun, general manager of Delach CNC Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
